Parade Day Information
Before You Arrive
Everyone attending the parade should review the Rules & Regulations set forth by the Fourth of July Committee, along with the tips below, to help ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.
Parade Day Tips
Make the most of your parade experience!
Stay Cool
Bring cold drinks, hats, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the summer sun.
Find Some Shade
Shady areas along the route can help keep you comfortable during the wait for the parade.
Keep Kids Entertained
Bring games, books, or small activities to keep children occupied before the parade begins.
Leave Pets at Home
Large crowds, loud music, and hot pavement can be stressful and unsafe for animals.
First Aid Available
Emergency medical crews will be stationed along the parade route if assistance is needed.
Public Bleacher Seating
Bleachers located across from the Reviewing Stand will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parade Rules & Regulations
To maintain a safe and orderly event, the following rules are strictly enforced.
Parade Route Setup

Blankets and chairs may not be set up before 5:00 a.m.

Any materials placed before this time will be confiscated

Overnight camping is prohibited
Parade Route Safety

Areas along the route may not be roped off, taped off, or blocked in any way

Bicycles, skateboards, and in-line skates are prohibited during the parade

Anyone arriving with these items must walk them along the route
Prohibited Items
The following are not allowed along the parade route:

Alcoholic beverages
-
Fireworks of any kind
-
Silly String or “Poppers”
-
Streamers
-
Water guns
-
Projectiles of any kind
Soliciting
Soliciting or selling items along the parade route is illegal without a license issued by the Fourth of July Committee.
