The "Most Patriotic Town in America"
is showcased in this flat and fast half marathon.
In partnership with the Bristol Fourth of July Committee, this half marathon winds through the charming streets of downtown Bristol during the Oldest Fourth of July Celebration in America. Runners experience America’s quintessential seaside community at its patriotic best, passing magnificent historic homes, the Town Common, and the Herreshoff Marine Museum before heading out along the scenic coastline.
The course continues through the waterfront campus of Roger Williams University, follows part of Bristol’s historic Fourth of July parade route, and finishes along the harbor at Independence Park—where stunning water views and the festive spirit of Bristol’s legendary Independence Day celebration await.
